Session Management Chair
Responsibilities:
Coordination and management of sessions during the conference.
Assigning Session Moderators for each session.
Identifying relevant topics of interest for the sessions.
Working closely with the Session Management Chair.
Onboarding volunteers.
Keeping the session on time.
Interfacing with other teams and ensure the session runs smoothly.
Working closely with the Speaker Management Chair.
Onboarding volunteers.
Managing speaker logistics.
Interfacing with other teams and ensure the session runs smoothly.
Attendees have a positive and memorable experience at the conference.
Attendee Experience Chair
Responsibilities:
Constantly communicating with attendees.
Planning and organising networking events and workshops during the conference.
Ensuring attendees’ questions or concerns are addressed.
Working closely with the Attendee Experience Chair.
Onboarding volunteers.
Engaging attendees before, during and after the conference.
Interfacing with other teams and ensure the session runs smoothly.
Conference has a wider reach (2x participation) and higher awareness than previous editions.
Advocacy and Outreach Chair
Responsibilities:
Identifying opportunities to engage with external organisations.
Developing outreach strategies for the Marketing team.
Monitoring and measuring the impact of advocacy and outreach activities.
Working closely with Advocacy and Outreach Chair.
Onboarding volunteers.
Developing a marketing plan and budget.
Managing marketing campaigns and measuring their impact.
Working closely with the Events Operations Chair.
Onboarding volunteers.
Coordinating with all other team leads.
Managing logistics incl. equipment, venue, food, transportation, accommodation, and other facilities.
Working closely with the Events Operations Chair.
Onboarding volunteers.
Setting up the registration system.
Managing the registration process and data.
