Chair

  • As a Chair, you are the CEO (Chief Event Officer) of an Event.
  • You are responsible for the P&L of the event.
  • You orchestrate and lead the various teams to ensure there is method to the mayhem.
Whats in it for you: Visibility to CXO's in the product industry.
How much of your time: 10 to 20 hrs/Week. Full time T-5 days until event completion.


Session Management - Lead

  • As a session manager you are the lead for a session.
  • You are responsible for the success of a session.
  • Identify and recommend the most sought after topics of interest to the public.
  • A session could be a panel discussion or a workshop or fireside chat or mentor connect
Whats in it for you: Building 1 to 1 relationship with your guru/someone you look up to in the product industry.
How much of your time: 5 to 10 hrs/Week. Full time T-3 days until event completion.


Speaker Management - Lead

  • As a Speaker Manager, you lead to bring the best of the best speakers to the event. Speakers who can contribute to 1 or more of the topics during the event day.
  • You are responsible for the success of the speaker line up for the event.
  • Lookout for speakers who can be Keynote, or solid to run a workshop or to maybe a contrarian who can be a part of a panel discussion.
Whats in it for you: Building 1 to 1 relationship with your guru/someone you look up to in the product industry.
How much of your time: 5 to 10 hrs/Week. Full time T-3 days until event completion.

Sales - Lead

  • As the Sales Lead, you drive ticket sales.
  • You are responsible for the revenues by way of ticket sales via B2B (Corporates) and B2C (Individuals) channels.
  • Pricing strategy and customer acquisition is key in this role.
Whats in it for you: Developing your network with key decision makers in Corporate.
How much of your time: 5 to 10 hrs/Week. Full time T-3 days until event completion.

Marketing - Lead

  • As the Marketing Lead, you build the PLF brand and contribute to the sales.
  • You are responsible for maximum outreach of the event, resulting in increased conversions
  • Regular messaging on all social media channels. Digital Marketing.
Whats in it for you: Building the PLF brand in the community.
How much of your time: 5 to 10 hrs/Week. Full time T-3 days until event completion. Super busy on the event day.

Logistics - Lead

  • As the Logistics Lead, you play a significantly important role in developing the user experience for all the stakeholders.
  • You are responsible for the venue, F&B, Gifts, Goodies, A&V coordination, Banners et al.
  • Hyperactive leader, high-amount of follow up required.
Whats in it for you: Develop negotiation skills and dealing with vendors.
How much of your time: 5 to 10 hrs/Week. Full time T-5 days until event completion. Super busy in the last week.

Volunteer

  • As a volunteer, you are key to getting things done.
  • You are responsible for completion of short term unrelated activities. As jobs need to be get done.
Whats in it for you: Greater exposure to all facets of making an event happen.
How much of your time: Dependent on the activity you sign up for. Full time T-3 days until event completion. Super busy on the day of the event.
